WCARS, WCARS-VE Amateur (Ham) Radio Technician License Study Class on Zoom Meeting

The Western Carolina Amateur Radio Society (WCARS), and Western Carolina Amateur Radio Society Volunteer Examiner Coordinator (WCARS-VE) will host a Technician level license study class.

The class will be conducted via Zoom Meeting beginning March 2, 2021. Each classroom session will run from 7:30 pm until about 9:00 pm.

There is no fee for the class. Sessions will be held each Tuesday and Thursday until all subjects contained in the study manual are discussed.

Each participant should obtain the study manual specified on the registration request form. Once the study course is completed, each participant can contact the volunteer examiner team of their choosing to locate a license examination session.

Everyone is welcome to register for the class, there are no restrictions. Students must successfully complete a license examination, and must meet FCC eligibility requirements to obtain an amateur operators license.
